North American Coatings, LLC and all of its’ subsidiaries are strongly committed
to the Safety and Health of all our employees, and to the protection of the Environment.
All employees must take personal responsibility for safety, health and environmental
issues. It is our goal to foster a culture that instills a sense of pride and duty
to protect the environment and the health and welfare of everyone we work with.
Some of the key features of our program include:
- EMR < 1.0
- Drug and alcohol testing of all employees including pre-employment, random, post
incident, for cause and follow up testing. Separate testing pools are maintained
for DOT Pipeline employees and FMCSA drivers.
- Approved Drivers Program including annual driver review and full compliance with
FMCSA requirements.
- New hire training including orientation in the company’s Code of Safe Practices.
- Review and approval of our ESH Program by National Compliance Management Services.
- On-line record storage for all employee files and training records
- On-line Training Management System to track the current status of employee training records and qualifications.
- Standardized company safety training modules including written exams
- IL Lead License ILDPH #L-0371
- Safety Incentive program for all employees including individual and company wide
awards.
- Annual Supervisors ESH conference.
- Weekly management review of ESH performance, current operating issues and future
challenges.
- Pre-Job Safety Review, Job Hazard Analysis, Job Site Tool Box Meetings,
Jobsite Audits and Incident Reporting and Investigation.
- A copy of our ESH Program and current safety statistics are available to potential
clients for review upon request.
